With immediate effect there will be no more branch admissions.  All calls regarding cats coming into care, owned or stray cats, must be referred to our contact centre on 03000 121212

Rehoming of cats is currently suspended until further notice. You may contact us to register interest in a cat & we will progress this once restrictions are lifted.

Limited CP activities where a volunteer can social distance themselves may continue.

We want people to support our objective of making every cat is treated with kindness and understanding of its needs Would you like to help?Van

We URGENTLY need more volunteers to share the workload and to continue to make a very real difference to the quality of life of cats in the Forest of Dean. Even if you can only spare a couple of hours per month, this could help to save a cat one of its nine lives.

You could help with:-

  • Homing Visits
  • Working a half day in our shop in Lydney
  • Creative skills to make items to sell in the shop
  • Fostering cats – this must be a long term commitment
  • Fund-raising.
  • Liaising with local newspapers
  • And many other tasks

Offer us your particular talent and, providing it’s legal, we’ll find a way of using it to help the cats!

And for those who may not be able to help us physically, donations are always welcome.

Please send your cheques made payable to “Forest of Dean Cats Protection” to:
